Waste management is a Culture! It involves All individuals who handle and/or have responsibility for handling different types of materials including household materials, industry materials like chemicals and other hazardous substances, and for GCC especially Food Waste.
In a waste management culture people must be trained as to the proper handling, segregation and disposal procedures appropriate to the type(s) of materials.
Management system:
It is a system to manage and monitor the collection, segregation, transportation, processing, and recycling, of waste materials.
By assessing the process in steps and what can go wrong here, assess the effect and impact this potential failure or risk will have related to products, machinery, environment, people, violation to legislation or any lost to the company, you will have a clear knowledge of the inhered risk. Not all risk are equal sever, therefore, the risk need to be rated to it severity, and not all risk occur all the time, hence we need to assess how often it happens. Finally we need to know how we currently control these risks of failure, with a rating similar with the first two.
