CONTEXT
At the completion of this Course, participants will be able to:
Learn how to assessing each process step with two aspects of environmental impact.
> Consumption of utilities
> Emission of waste / pollution
Identifying impact to the air, water and ground. How can that be done on the operation level?
We will give you some tools which apply to this assessment process. ‘As is’, ‘Impact identifies’, ‘study techniques. Controlling tools like ‘risk of failure’ (FMEA). Preventive tools as ‘five S’, ‘Poka Yoke’ and other techniques.
We will discuss the possibilities for improvements. through waste management, waste water management and mitigations on air pollution, including noise.
It applies to Environmental- and Health and Safety risk management. Also, you will get introduced to different use of the tools, and brief introduction to Kuwait Environmental law as a driver for environmental improvement.
The practical knowledge on how to secure that issues, like logistic after your organization and who are the receptors available for receiving your waste - soil or water, is managed and controlled.
Practical solutions about how to keep the heat out and have A/C systems that don’t blow your head off and other improvement techniques are what this course is all about.
